Day 1: Arrival to Costa Rica

Upon arrival a representative will meet you at the Juan Santamaria International Airport in Costa Rica, to take you to the hotel. Overnight in San José

Day 2: Tortuguero – North Caribbean – Costa Rica

Early morning transfer to Tortuguero Canals in the north Caribbean of Costa Rica. After driving through the magnificent Braulio Carrillo National Park, we will arrive to Guápiles, in this place we will enjoy a delicious typical breakfast that consists in rice with beans, called “Gallo Pinto”, also with fried plantain, eggs, toasts, coffee and orange juice. In some hotels or restaurants they serve different options for breakfast.


For the next three days our luggage weight is limited to 25 pounds. We recommend carrying a little bag pack for your clothes for the next days. The rest of your luggage will be at the operations centre.

After breakfast we will continue to Caño Blanco dock, on the way we will get to see banana plantations just before we arrive to the dock. Transfer by boat to the Lodge. After check in we will enjoy a delicious lunch served at the restaurant of our hotel. This afternoon is a great opportunity to visit the Village of Tortuguero along with your guide. Through this visit you will learn the ways of life of the local residents of Tortuguero. After the visit and some free time, we will return back to the Lodge. Our dinner will be served at the restaurant. Overnight in Tortuguero, Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B, L, D)

Day 3: Tortuguero National Park

Tortuguero National Park–one of the most varied within the park system–has 11 ecological habitats, from high rainforest to herbaceous marsh communities.
The tour to the Tortuguero Canals introduces visitors to the rich rainforest and its great array of Wildlife (you will try to spot some wildlife animals such as toucans, monkeys, and sometimes crocodiles). Early morning hours are a great opportunity to witness the awakening in the forest. Coffee is readily available before departing on the tour. After this amazing experience we will return to the hotel for our breakfast. After breakfast departure by boat to the private trail where you will enjoy a guided walk into the tropical rainforest. After this activity you will return to the hotel for lunch. . Overnight in Tortuguero (B+L+D)

Day 4: La Fortuna – Northern Plains – Costa Rica

After breakfast meet at main dock for return boat ride to Caño Blanco dock then transfer to Arenal Volcano. Recognized as a volcano since the 19th century, it was known by foreign investigators as Volcan Costa Rica, Rio Frio, Canastos Volcano and Cerro de los Guatusos. Arenal is the youngest and most active of all the mountains in Costa Rica. After check in to your hotel you can relax or we recommend you visit La Fortuna Town, it is a very beautiful place with very friendly people, many restaurants and a gorgeous park. OPTIONAL TOUR: Natural hot springs. Overnight in Arenal. (B+L)

Day 5: Arenal Volcano National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, we will have a walk to observe the Arenal Volcano, it will be at the Mirador El Silencio Reserve, this reserve has 4 trails, located on an estate of 225 hectares with 100 hectares of primary forest, in which observe many species of animals in their natural habitat, also has diverse vegetation with majestic trees like Ceiba, Guarumu and other nesting birds trees. At the trails we can observe the volcano and Lake Arenal. In the afternoon we will increase our adrenaline with the Sky Trek canopy tour. Sky Trek starts with a tour in the Sky Tram to reach the top of the Arenal reserve, then begins a tour of adventure full of adrenaline above the treetops, which consists on a system of zip lines, that allows you to observe the rainforest and its landscape from a different perspective, safely in an innovative and different system. Day 6: Manuel Antonio – Central Pacific – Costa Rica

After the breakfast we will go to one of the most beautiful areas and greater diversity of species such as Manuel Antonio, located on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. In this area we can find the Manuel Antonio National Park where we can find lots of animals, which have a facility to be observed. Overnight in Manuel Antonio (B)

Day 7: Manuel Antonio National Park

After breakfast we will have a tour to Manuel Antonio National Park, a place surrounded by 4 beautiful beaches and a rainforest that is home to the restless white-faced monkeys or capuchins, the fun little marmoset, a species endemic to Costa Rica, sloths and noisy howler monkeys also known as Congo, as well as many other species of birds, iguanas and more. With one of the most stunning scenery in all of Costa Rica, the park boasts white sand and green foliage in the midst of great mountains. Free afternoon to enjoy the freedom we relaxed on the beach or stay at your hotel. Overnight in Manuel Antonio (B)

Day 8: San José

Transfer to San José in the afternoon.
NOTE FOR EXTENSIONS: If you want to extend your trip in Costa Rica we can offer more nights at the beach or visit another touristic attractions in Costa Rica. Please let us know if you are interested to get an extension for your trip. Overnight in San José (B)

Day 9

This is going to be a warm place with temperatures ranging between 75ºF in San José, 76ºF in Arenal, 85ºF in Manuel Antonio and Tortuguero, so bring shorts and T shirts, but just in case bring a light jacket for the nights in Arenal. Swimming suit is necessary, hiking shoes or good snickers and an extra pair of shoes, sandals, suntan lotion, insects repellent (this I recommend just in case), flashlight, a rain coat (it is dry season but who knows what could happen), binoculars, camera and good vibrations to enjoy the beauty of this little peaceful country that we are happy to show you.
